Build It.

Clickware DevelopmentNo matter what happens - people still need their work done

At the end of the day - your users need to get their jobs done in the most efficient way possible. Optimizing your workflow is the key to higher productivity and greater employee/customer satisfaction. Clickware can help you automate your workflow processes in several ways:

  • Create brand new solutions from your existing specification or from a specification that we help you with in the design stage;

  • Migrate your database from one technology to another, such as upsizing from FileMaker Pro to Microsoft SQL Server or Oracle;

  • Integrate your workgroup database into a larger system (many workgroups find that their firm's ERP system doesn't give the detail level necessary and need a supplemental database to track details important to them);

  • Create a Servoy-based application using any SQL database;

  • Create browser-based projects using the Servoy or custom HTML CMS systems using the Servoy headless client and JSP;

It's More Than Just Coding

There is a lot more involved in getting a project successfully deployed than just the coding part. You need to have good project management, good communication between the stakeholders, the end users and the development team.

There needs to be a change management system in place - to help prevent scope creep and to help ensure that you can get your application finished and deployed. There needs to be a way for the people who will use the system to provide feedback - early and often - so that they feel like they're part of the process and so that their expectations of the featureset will be correct when the application goes into production.

A lot of projects aren't successful because the development team is hitting some roadblocks, or part of the system is more difficult to code than originally thought - or any one of a hundred other things. The important thing is communication. An important part of the project management process also includes regular status updates - and changes to the schedule as required. Good, frequest and visible communication on all levels minimizes the number of potential project-killing "surprises" (e.g. "Surprise - we said it would take 6 months and now that it's been 6 months - we're 'almost there' but we need another 4 months...").

Most importantly, we can help you do more with less, and get your project done on time and on budget. If you would like more specific information on the development timeframe and costs for your project, please fill out our Online Project Quote or email us at [email protected].
